Jorge Lopez Llorente is a bilingual writer and translator from Madrid, Spain. He studied English Language & Literature at the University of Oxford. His debut poetry collection in Spanish, Los ojos desdibujados, was published by Cuadranta (an imprint of Olé Libros) in 2021, after being shortlisted for the VI Valparaíso Prize. His poetry, fiction and articles in English and Spanish have appeared on Spain's National Radio (RNE), as well as in magazines like Under the Radar, New Critique, Wildfire Words, The Dawntreader, Shorts, The Citron Review, -Algia, Mordedor, El Coloquio de los Perros, The Isis Magazine and Cherwell. His work has been shortlisted for the 2023 Poetry London Pamphlet Prize.
